Bye Bye 2013, on espère...

Best swans cover ever.
This is actually an interpretation of Henryk Górecki's Symphony No. 3
Please upload more footage from this gig! :)
-Holy shit! whoever made this video is amazing - it is … it’s as brilliant in its own many parts as this song is in its own .. wow I’m working on my local classical music station* to play (shrugs) sufficiently sophisticated music like this during request call ins. “Moya” is an easy first entry..
Si seulement j'étais là
This is so gay
Yeah its so cool
I feel like in the studio version the drums were such an important part of the buildup
Muy buena banda .- Tiene una maravillosa y contémporanea atmósfera tanguera , digna de mi país.-
see them live trust me
x hail!
I was always interested about the album cover for Slow Riot for new zero kanada but I never really paid close attention to the symbols on the cover, but today I decided to take the cover and put into google translate. My guess was that is was Hebrew, wich was correct. Now for the translation, it read תֹהוּ וָבֹהוּ= “Tohu wa-bohu” wich translates to Chaos. But when i typed the hebrew into google i got a way more interesting result. Turns out תֹהוּ וָבֹהוּ is a biblical phrase found in Genesis 1:2 and that it describes the condition of the Earth immediately before the creation of light in Genesis 1:3. This just adds way more darkness, chaos and depth to the experience of listening to this masterpiece.
The first time i heard this i went out drinking with a new girl at work, she offered me ecstasy tablets and we ended up in her house she told me to close my eyes and massaged me with this on. When the music hit its stride, i felt like an explosion of goose bumps.... that was nearly 20 years ago. I still get those goose bumps and that memory every single time. What a fantastic song, life changing.
🖤
Listened to this song a lot while reading "Demian" from Herman Hesse. The song resonates so much with the book, and i can't' explain why.
1:26 someone is a little excited i think
I had the privilege of seeing them play this song last week in Atlantic City! Super important and amazing band!
Mi dear friend Claudio said that i had to listen to that and i am doing it
Their so deep and edgy and they speak to a broken world and the sadness in my heart er mer gerd🤡
my man. My brother in Christ. You listen to rap about anime characters with deep backstories.
@@anotherdnb I am not your brother in christ, and I dont really like rap
Omg😭
Definitely the best live version of it ive heard 🖤 my favourite track by them...haunting
τι μπορείς να πεις
One of the bands I hope to see before I die.
go, do whatever you can, literally no matter what. make sacrifices for it. it will change your life permanently
They're worth seeing and they don't gouge their audience on tickets. Even as old timers they kill it.
+1
This is a meditation
Goosebumps. The Canadian ELO...kinda sorta...
Okay gang, who will be there this March 2023? (Le Metropolis est maintenant MTelus)
is this originally a Gorecki composition?
Dream
This video is awesome, and I'm really glad it exists, but the cameraman bias towards rock instruments kind of irks me. I really want to see the traditional string section more. After all, those instruments are harder to learn and those who play them well almost always have formal training. It's weird how modern music always subordinates them,
Moya is the one, man.
Love this live! ... Saw them 2 months ago in Toronto. So good, I will see them again in the USA in November! ... To use the expression the Beat Poets used for jazz solos in the 60s, they've got "it" -- but to an exacting degree. Moya goes from despair to a hysterical, overjoyous hope. It is everything we have to bear every day -- in contrast to our purest and truest aspirations coming true ♡
A have a vivid memory of being in the middle of nowhere in Hungary looking over a flat plain on a sunny late afternoon listening to Raise Your Skinny Fists on head phones. Mind-blowing experience.
Jönnek àprilisban a Dürer Kertbe
@@Gaucho8510 élőben nem láttam őket. Egy nap szeretném. Magyarország egy csodálatos ország!
@@Alun49 ohh i have thought you are hungarian too, the last time they were here was maybe in 2009
@@Alun49 then promised than they would come under the next big world crisis lol
@@Gaucho8510 No, I'm British! I was travelling through Poland, Slovenia, Hungary, Ukraine and Romania with my brother in 2001 (I think!) We spent a month doing it. My brother is an ecologist and was doing some work on developing National Parks in the Danube region. I got a free trip with him, which was really good! My brother lives in Romania now.
Ugh
The best piece they’ve ever written. Mind blowing every single time.
<3
i listen to a lot of genres of music, and see this here... this is a masterpiece
As a rock fan whats the best way i could understand post rock i just dont get it
It's dramatic chords mixed with heavy but slow drums and generally making an atmosohere focused on Sad/reflexive feelings more than everything
Throw on some headphones, go for a walk somewhere moody, and listen to an entire album with no pausing or skipping.
In the case of Godspeed, it's ambiental/drone with mixes and snippets of post-rock, which is a genre that could be described as kind of "rock for an apocalyptic wasteland". It's moody and reflective, basically. Kinda edgy, but it has a charm :)
Sublime
LOS AMO
Just amazing in every sense of the word. And beyond. Cudos
Is there any chance you have the full video of the whole performance?
This is the Greatest video I have ever seen.
I must be a 100 of these views...
This was filmed in color, but the colors soaked away into the music.
Ben voyons calisse.
very dope
I've played along with their records so many times that I've had a few other musicians I've jammed with, tell me that I play guitar like I'm in an orchestra. That's because I learned to play from my favorite orchestra in the world_
Çok güzel mk
